What to Eat?

or, Invitations Part II, In Which We Tell You What's On The Menu
It sounds like people are receiving invitations and wondering what they would like to eat! I wasn't sure when the invitations went to press what the dishes would be, but now I know that

• Beefitarian = Tenderloin of beef with mushroom demi, shallot whipped potatoes and haricots vert bundles


• Fishitarian = Crispy catfish with remoulade, onion relish, tiny potatoes with pancetta and wilted greens (This will be spicy!)


• Vegan/Vegetarian = Moroccan chickpea crepe with vegetables and saffron rice

I have been tasting this stuff and it's all very good!

what to wear

Whatever you want, especially if it's any of these glamour gowns (be sure to do yourself a favor and turn the sound off!) . I think I have talked the groomal party out of wearing airbrushed tuxedo t-shirts, so this should be a quality affair. Wear your tuxes, fancy suits or kilts, or the gowns that you never get to wear. If you don't have something that you want to wear, borrow something or get something crazy from goodwill! Dressing up is fun! But, no, you don't really have to dress up. And, yes, you can wear your purple flight suit if you must, but only if you wear a tie or a pocket square or something!

So we got our invitations all together and mailed today! If you don't find them in your mailbox soon, let us know! I got this super paper for the invitations that you can plant! It will grow into lunaria (a.k.a. silver dollar plant, money plant, honesty, judas' penny, moonwort, etc. etc.)
















If you follow the instructions on the back of the invitation, they will (hopefully) grow into the pretty purple plant and then seed into the silver dollars. You can find more information about it here.

Be sure to send us your rsvp card back so that we can log what you want to eat and then plant it!

We're kicking-off the weekend festivities early and hope you can join us!

This sanctioned event is sure to be a real barnraiser, dedicated to the debauchery with which Lindsey and Andrew have entertained us for years.

The location is still to be disclosed, but the guest list is WIDE OPEN. If you dare, if you are fair, if you have ever breathed air, you are WELCOME--neigh your attendance be mandatory.

The theme is also still to be disclosed, but the mood will be frivolous. The food delicious. The company marvelous.
